National Bank and the Ecole d'Entrepreneurship de Beauce (EEB) are proud to announce the creation of the National Bank Award. The Award, consisting in a $10,000 scholarship, will be presented twice a year to a budding entrepreneur at EEB (one Award per session). The Award will go to the participant who submitted the investment project deemed by a jury to have the best growth strategy.

The National Bank Award and scholarship will allow the winner to make his or her investment dream a reality, putting the knowledge he or she has acquired at EEB into action. With the creation of this new Award, the EEB and National Bank are fulfilling their commitment to support entrepreneurs in their future goals and foster the growth of small and medium-sized businesses. "National Bank has supported the EEB from its inception. With the National Bank Award, we've added a new dimension to our partnership, which remains focused on providing high-calibre training so that our student entrepreneurs are equipped to achieve their future goals. We are proud to be able to count on a major partner like National Bank to pursue our mission to train the next generation of entrepreneurs," stated Marc Dutil, Founding President of the EEB.

"Ensuring the long-term success of small and medium-sized businesses in Quebec is absolutely vital for us," said Diane Dery, Vice President, Sales and Service, Commercial Banking, Quebec City area and Eastern Quebec, National Bank. "We firmly believe that the health of our economy is based on dynamic entrepreneurs. Supporting tomorrow's business leaders is therefore crucial. Our partnership with the EEB is one of the ways that we help make the next generation of entrepreneurs strong and effective, so that they can play a key role in the growth of Quebec Inc." she added.
