VVC Exploration-Results of Annual General Meeting

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 4, 2010) - VVC EXPLORATION CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:VVC)V ("VVC" or the "Company") announces that its Annual and General Meeting of Shareholders ("AGM") took place on July 22, 2010 and that the shareholders approved the re-election of the existing Board of Directors. In addition, shareholders approved all other matters which were submitted with the proxy materials for approval at the AGM, including the requisite annual approval of the Stock Option Plan for 2010 and the re-appointment of MSCM LLP as auditors of the Company.

Following the formal part of the AGM, Mr. Andre St-Michel, P.Eng. presented the Company's Projects in Mexico with emphasis on the Cumeral Project which is currently being explored through an air trac drilling program the results of which will be announced as available.

Thereafter, Mr. Bertrand Brassard, P.Geo., described the BB Gold Project in the Beauce-Bellechase area of Eastern Quebec. The BB Gold Property is located in Quebec's Appalachian Mountain Trend, approximately 70 miles to the south of Quebec City. It consists of approximately 250 claims totalling 13,500 hectares (135 km5) which hosts several gold showings in sedimentary units in an area where exploration is heating up. In February 2010, Fancamp Exploration Ltd. (FNC) reported two significant intersections grading 0.46 grams per tonne over 29 metres in hole RD-09-02 and 0.57 grams per tonne over 23.3 metres in hole RD-09-07. The Fancamp property is located a few kilometres to the south-east of the BB Gold Property and characterized by the same geological environment. On the north eastern extension of the BB Gold Property geological trend, Golden Hope Mines Limited (GNH) is carrying out a major drilling program on their Bellechasse-Timmins gold deposit. VVC is currently formulating its plans for exploration in the Beauce area, with details to be announced later.

Mr. Peter Dimmell, P.Geo, a director and the technical person on the Board, then gave presentation on his recent site visits to both the Cumeral (MX) and the BB Gold (QC) properties, showing photos of the ongoing exploration on the properties and general area.

In a subsequent Board Meeting, the Directors reappointed the following executive officers for VVC:
