Boon Investments Brings Robo- Advisory Services to the World

Share:

July 6, 2017: Boon Investments, a U.S. Registered Investment Adviser, has launched its robo-advisor application in over 110 countries. For the first time, international users can access both U.S. investments and investment advice directly from their mobile phone.

As a robo-advisor, Boon assists its clients with all stages of the investment cycle: from asset allocation to dividend reinvestment to portfolio rebalancing. Yet what separates Boon from traditional robo- advisors is the level of portfolio customization it offers clients. With Boon, clients have the ability to choose specific U.S. stocks they would like to invest in and Boon incorporates these choices into their overall investment strategy.

Unlike traditional advisors, Boon Investments only requires a $500 minimum to open an account. Through their broker-dealer, DriveWealth, LLC, Boon is able to provide dollar-based and fractional share investing. This will allow investors to invest in terms of dollars, rather than shares. DriveWealth believes that dollar-based investing will enable individuals to invest their monthly savings at an affordable rate which they control.

“Boon gives international investors the unique ability to invest in the U.S. companies they care about, while still maintaining a diversified portfolio designed to provide efficient returns. This way, we keep the control of client portfolios exactly where it should be: with our clients,” said John Borkowski, CEO and Co-Founder of Boon Investments, Inc.

By 2020, global assets under management is expected to be over $2.2 trillion. As the fastest growing category in the wealth-management industry, robo-advisors are projected to be a driving force of this growth. Boon Investments hopes to lead this trend internationally.

“There is huge potential for robo-advisors in international markets, where technological innovation has leapfrogged traditional banking systems. In many emerging markets, more people own a mobile phone than a traditional bank account. We want to capitalize on this economic shift, and have built the infrastructure to do so.”
