Stambush Staffing Defies 2011 Employee Benefits Trend

Houston medical staffing agency increases payment on individual health insurance premiums

Houston, TX (Vocus/PRWEB) January 17, 2011

According to a 2010 survey by the National Business Group on Health, American businesses were projected to decrease their coverage of health insurance premiums during 2011. Houston medical staffing resource Stambush Staffing has done just the opposite.

Stambush Staffing recently announced to employees that the company would now be covering more than 62 percent of the employee's individual healthcare insurance premiums – as opposed to the 50 percent it covered before – without changing the insurance plan.

“We have always had a commitment to providing the best working environment for our employees, and that includes their benefits,” said Scott Stambush, owner of Stambush Staffing. “When our insurance provider increased the premiums, it frustrated us and we didn't want to pass that expense onto our employees, so we decided to cover them.”

In addition to increasing its coverage of individual health insurance premiums, Stambush Staffing also instituted a new 401k policy in which 90 percent of it can be self-directed. Employees have the freedom to buy stocks, mutual funds, or other financial assets individually.

Stambush Staffing plans to continue providing excellent benefits to its employees and looks forward to the positive impact it will have on their workforce in the coming year.
