Physicians Realty Trust DOC (the "Company," the "Trust," "we," "our" and "us"), a self-managed healthcare real estate investment trust, is proud to announce the expansion of its asset management and leasing platform through the hiring of Tosha Clay, Michelle Morris, and Larry Jarema. We are also proud to announce that Mark Dukes, the Company's VP – Asset Management, has been elected to Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International's Executive Committee.

"Since its IPO, Physicians Realty Trust has been built on close relationships with physicians and hospital executives across the country and a culture centered on customer service and operational excellence. We are excited to add three exceptional individuals to our asset management and leasing team to further our mission and reputation as the healthcare real estate owner of choice by operating our properties at the highest levels of professionalism, responsiveness, and efficiency to meet the needs of our healthcare tenants and improve the patient and physician experience," commented Mark Theine, SVP – Asset and Investment Management.

Mr. Theine added, "Tosha, Michelle, and Larry are all well-known leaders in the healthcare real estate industry with long-standing hospital relationships of their own. They share our vision and culture for providing industry-leading services and communication with our healthcare partners. Additionally, we are proud to congratulate Mark Dukes for his election to BOMA International's Executive Committee, recognizing him as a thought-leader in commercial real estate, especially medical office real estate, and demonstrating his commitment to advancing the asset and property management profession across the industry. Mark Dukes' leadership at Physicians Realty Trust has been widely recognized through the integration of our Catholic Health Initiatives partnership and will continue to grow as he assumes more responsibility within our asset management team."

Tosha Clay recently joined Physician Realty Trust's Atlanta office to lead real estate operations in the Southeast as our Regional Asset Manager – Southeast, reporting to Mark Dukes. Ms. Clay joins the DOC team with nearly 15 years of real estate experience, most recently leading Duke Realty's healthcare portfolio in the Atlanta market. In this role, Ms. Clay was responsible for the oversight of more than 80 properties with a total of 6.6 million square feet across 16 states. She led a team of professional property and asset managers and was responsible for cultivating relationships externally with health system clients including Northside Hospital. Ms. Clay earned a BBA degree in Real Estate from Georgia State University. She holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), as well as the LEED AP O+M credential issued by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Michelle Morris recently joined Physician Realty Trust's Dallas office to lead real estate operations in the South as our Regional Asset Manager – South, reporting to Mark Dukes. Ms. Morris joins the DOC team with 15 years of property management and accounting experience. Most recently, she was a Senior Property Manager with Duke Realty for seven years. Among her many responsibilities, Ms. Morris managed the Baylor Cancer Center, now owned by Physicians Realty Trust, a 460,000 square foot state-of-the-art medical office facility connected via skybridge directly to Baylor's T. Boone Pickens Cancer Hospital. Ms. Morris also spent nine years with Physicians Realty Trust's partner, Lincoln Harris, managing medical office facilities, where she took a lead role in leasing and creating internal training classes. Ms. Morris earned her BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, and she holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Larry Jarema recently joined Physician Realty Trust's Atlanta office as the Regional Leasing Manager-East, reporting to Amy Hall, VP – Leasing. Mr. Jarema will focus on growing our leasing platform through direct negotiations on lease renewals and new leases, reducing the overall cost paid to third-parties. Mr. Jarema joins the DOC team with over 25 years of leasing management experience. Previously, he spent four years as Senior Vice President, Brokerage for Ackerman & Co., a 50 year-old Atlanta-based development and brokerage firm. For the five years prior to Ackerman, he was one of Duke Realty's founding Vice Presidents of Leasing, overseeing the healthcare group's Southeast portfolio. Mr. Jarema graduated from the University of North Carolina with a BS degree in Industrial Relations.

As noted above, Mark Dukes, VP – Asset Management, has been elected to the Executive Committee of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International. The six new members elected at the BOMA International Conference and Expo in Nashville in late June will serve a two-year term and be responsible for developing the strategic direction and policies for the association, which is a federation of 93 BOMA U.S. associations and 14 international affiliates. Executive Committee members work with BOMA International officers and executive staff to maximize the effectiveness of BOMA International, while ensuring resources are available to achieve its goals. Mr. Dukes is a long-time member of BOMA International and has held numerous leadership positions in his local association, BOMA Georgia, including serving as its President in 2015. He was also honored with two prestigious awards: the 2016 BOMA Georgia Huey Award and the 2016 BOMA Southern Region Member of the Year Award.

John Thomas, President and CEO of Physicians Realty Trust shares, "Under Mark Theine's leadership, we have recruited the top talent in the healthcare real estate sector and created a culture second to none, focused on serving our physician and hospital partners. Our company is named Physicians Realty Trust for a reason: we are committed to supporting physicians, both hospital-employed and independent, by providing a successful environment for their business to succeed. This wouldn't be possible without our incredible team of employees, who are committed to constant, consistent, industry-leading customer service and operational excellence. Mark Theine, Mark Dukes, and our entire asset management and leasing team all have and continue to have that focus and reputation, which is the heart of the values Physicians Realty Trust has established and delivers to our customers and stakeholders. Their attention to detail and service are the reasons why health systems and physicians groups, when they have the choice, choose Physicians Realty Trust for their real estate partner."
