Donations in Support of the Canadian Red Cross can be made at any Scotiabank Branch in Canada.

TORONTO, July 11, 2017 /CNW/ - Scotiabank is donating $50,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to help with the wildfire relief efforts in B.C.

Donations to the relief efforts can be made at any Scotiabank branch in Canada from July 13August 13. Funds will support the Canadian Red Cross. Please indicate that your donation is for the British Columbia Fires Appeal.

The ongoing wildfires have resulted in the province declaring a state of emergency, with thousands of residents having to evacuate their homes. We thank the firefighters, first responders and volunteers for their efforts to keep everyone safe.
