Vintage Allstate Commercial Creates Emotional Wedding Gift

NORTHBROOK, Ill., July 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Allstate Insurance helped organize the surprise of a lifetime to a California groom, Dave Patinella. His late father was featured in a commercial for the insurer in 1971, one that neither Dave nor his sister, Gina, had seen. 

After receiving an email from Gina in the hopes of locating the ad, Allstate dug through the archives and located the commercial.

After finding the vintage ad, Allstate worked with Gina to present it to her brother at his rehearsal dinner. Dave was in tears over what he called 'the best present ever.'
