Kevin King Joins Sterling National Bank's Public Sector Finance Team

MONTEBELLO, N.Y., June 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sterling National Bank, the principal subsidiary of Sterling Bancorp STL, announced today that Kevin King has joined the bank's Public Sector Finance team. King will lead the team as Senior Managing Director, reporting to Tom Geisel, Sterling's EVP and President for Specialty Finance & National Markets.

His demonstrated leadership track record in public sector finance will be instrumental as we move to the next phase of our growth strategy."

King was most recently Senior Vice President at Huntington National Bank where he was instrumental in building Huntington Public Capital to nearly $2 billion in outstanding loans. Previously, King held leadership positions at various banks and financial institutions. King obtained his Bachelor's from Augusta University.
