Leading global manufacturer converts plants to Upland's Ultriva Lean Execution Suite.

AUSTIN, Texas, June 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Upland Software, Inc. UPLD, a leader in cloud-based Enterprise Work Management software, today announced that Regal Beloit Corporation RBC, a leading global manufacturer of electric motors, electrical motion controls, power generation, and power transmission components, has signed an enterprise agreement to license Upland's Ultriva suite of Lean-enabling and sustaining manufacturing execution and supply chain applications.

For more than ten years, Regal has utilized various modules of the Ultriva Lean Execution Suite (LES) as point solutions to address specific Lean requirements at its manufacturing plants. Regal's emphasis on expanding and accelerating the adoption of Lean manufacturing and Lean supply chain principles and practices across their extended enterprise, coupled with LES's proven capabilities in each area, made Ultriva the ideal solution.

"Upland's Ultriva Lean Execution Suite leverages and extends the investment Regal has made in our Oracle ERP system by providing a private cloud-based supplier portal solution that can be quickly and cost-effectively integrated with Oracle and then deployed across our extended supply chain," said Jim Southwick, Vice President of Information Technology at Regal. "The Ultriva LES solution closes the loop on Regal's day-to-day supply chain processes. Our buyers and suppliers now benefit from having near real-time visibility into the status of every order combined with the ability to collaborate and execute on changes in our demand patterns," continued Southwick.

"Upland is excited to add Regal to a growing list of global manufacturing companies leveraging Ultriva to dramatically improve their advanced supply chain management and manufacturing execution systems," said Frank Kapper, General Manager of Ultriva at Upland Software. "Upland's enterprise-class cloud platform, professional services, and global support help ensure the successful implementation and reliable operation of Ultriva's Lean Execution Suite."
