SEI Names Rachel Volynsky Canadian Equity Portfolio Manager

Appointment Underscores SEI's Continued Growth in Global Markets

TORONTO, April 17, 2017 /CNW/ -- SEI Investments Canada Company (SEI Canada) today announced the appointment of Rachel Volynsky, CFA, as Canadian Equity Portfolio Manager in Toronto, pending regulatory approval. This appointment supports SEI's commitment to increasing the depth of the company's global resources and providing investment expertise to Canada's investors. In this role, Volynsky will be responsible for the management of all Canadian equity strategies and report to Jason Collins, Global Head of Equity Portfolio Management in the Investment Management Unit at SEI.

With more than 21 years of experience in the financial services industry, Volynsky most recently served as a fund manager and head of fundamental research at Calvert Investment Management, overseeing the Global Value and Global Equity Income mutual funds, and the general account of Ameritas, Calvert's parent insurance company. She also played a key role in managing due diligence of multiple sub-advised portfolios. Prior to her management role at Calvert, Volynsky served as a portfolio manager for the institutional group at Invesco Trimark and TD Asset Management, as well as Senior Investment Analyst for the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board.
