WellCare of New York Signs Agreements with Catholic Health and Catholic Medical Partners

NEW YORK and TAMPA, Fla., April 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- WellCare of New York, Inc., a subsidiary of WellCare Health Plans, Inc. WCG, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Catholic Health and Catholic Medical Partners, an independent practice association (IPA) that provides in-network coverage to WellCare's Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and Child Health Plus members.

The agreement provides access to health care services from Catholic Medical Partners providers and at all Catholic Health facilities, including hospitals, labs, diagnostic imaging centers, primary care clinics, and home- and community-based care services.

As of Dec. 31, 2016, WellCare of New York serves approximately 238,000 members in New York, including 130,000 Medicaid members, 43,000 Medicare Advantage plan members and 57,000 Medicare Prescription Drug Plan members.

WellCare (HMO) is a Medicare Advantage organization with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in WellCare (HMO) depends on contract renewal. The provider network may change at any time. You will receive notice when necessary.
