Mashable and Twitter Announce Live Show Partnership for SXSW

SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK, Feb. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Mashable, a global media and entertainment company for culture and tech superfans, and Twitter announced today that they will partner to stream "The Mashable Show" at SXSW 2017. The live program will be produced and hosted by Mashable from SXSW in Austin, Texas, and live streamed exclusively on Twitter.

The high energy, 90-minute show will air March 10, 11 and 12, live from the Mashable House at SXSW at 1:00pm EST/10:00am PST and will be available worldwide to Twitter's logged-in and logged-out audience on Twitter and connected devices.

"The Mashable Show" will be hosted by Mashable Executive Editor Jessica Coen, Mashable Social Editor Tracey Edouard, comedy writer and performer Kerri Doherty, and everyone's favorite cookie obsessed Sesame Street resident, Cookie Monster.

Several Mashable editors and reporters, including Jason Abbruzzese, Tina Amini, Annie Colbert, Kerry Flynn, Saba Hamedy, Sam Sheffer, Lance Ulanoff, and Raymond Wong, will be featured.  The show will be produced by Mashable Studios President Eric Korsh.

The show will include exclusive interviews, live music and comedy performances. The production will be built around viewer engagement, integrating live Twitter conversations, along with polls, questions and audience posts from the social platform, into the programming.
