NEW YORK, Feb. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Devonshire Research Group announced today the launch of its industry research subscription service and the initiation of a systematic activist investor impact tracker. Tailored to funds, individual and institutional investors, this new initiative comes in response to an overwhelming interest the firm has received for its publicly-distributed short presentations for GoPro GPRO in FY15 and Tesla TSLA in FY16. By using data mining and proprietary analysis tools to draw insights on the technology markets, Devonshire Research Group aims to provide a source for credible, unbiased, and data-driven objective view of the markets.

Devonshire Research has obtained an exclusive license from Activist Dashboard – leading provider of data on activist investors, campaigns, and their performance over time. Data from Activist Dashboard will be incorporated in bi-weekly newsletters issued by Devonshire Research to its subscribers. Devonshire Research will also use this data for its activist investor impact tracker – a combination of metrics applied to activist investors to determine their impact on the industry and/or a particular stock. The firm will publish its activist impact tracker rankings on an annual basis.

About Activist Dashboard

Activist Dashboard provides access to a comprehensive database and interactive dashboard of over 3,500 unique short activist campaigns targeting over 1,300 individual companies updated on daily basis. Currently Activist Dashboard holds comprehensive profiles of over 100 individual investors and investment and research firms with publicly announced short campaigns dating back to late 1990s. In addition to the database function granting access to carefully screened and assembled short campaigns, Activist Dashboard also provides stock and short caller performance insights analyzing success rate of the documented short campaigns. The goal of Activist Dashboard is to introduce additional analytical tools to the investment community for evaluating current and future targets by providing access to a bank of unique short theses and stock evaluations.
