NEW YORK, Nov. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Carver Bancorp, Inc. CARV, the holding company for Carver Federal Savings Bank ("Carver" or the "Bank"), today announced that the Bank recently launched a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem through the organization's Adopt-a-Clubhouse program.  As part of its partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem, Carver has made a three-year financial commitment to the organization and will invest time, talent and resources to provide students at The Ralph Bunche School (P.S. 125) in Harlem with the tools necessary to achieve greater academic success. 

Carver's partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem will entail a robust calendar of activities including: (1) financial investment in the clubhouse to support day-to-day programmatic operations, (2) volunteer opportunities involving academic support and enrichment, and (3) the planning of special events that promote social responsibility interests, among other contributions.

To kick-off the Adopt-a-Clubhouse program Carver's neighborhood partner, Go Africa Network Inc., donated school supplies to local area students.
