Materion Performance Alloys Announces Global Price Increase on Premium Rod, Bar, Tube and Wire Alloy Products

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Materion Performance Alloys, a Materion Corporation MTRN business, announced today that it will increase list prices worldwide on premium grades of its rod, bar, tube and wire copper beryllium and ToughMet® alloys. Fabrication prices will increase 3-5 percent effective November 11, 2016.

The price increase is necessary to offset costs associated with mining and processing beryllium as well as increases in manufacturing and transportation costs.
