Sequenom Announces Cancellation of Second Quarter 2016 Results Conference Call

SAN DIEGO, July 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sequenom, Inc., SQNM, a life sciences company committed to enabling healthier lives through the development of innovative products and services, announced on July 27, 2016 that it entered into a definitive agreement and plan of merger with Laboratory Corporation of America^® Holdings (LabCorp^®) under which LabCorp would acquire all of the outstanding shares of Seqeunom in a cash tender offer. In light of this announcement, Sequenom has cancelled its second quarter 2016 earnings conference call scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. ET (2:00 p.m. PT).
