Aware Introduces FIDO Certified Product Suite for Mobile Facial Biometric Authentication

BEDFORD, Mass., June 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Aware, Inc. AWRE, a leading global provider of biometrics software and solutions, today introduced FIDO® Suite, a family of software products that enable secure biometric authentication on mobile devices using facial "selfie" images. The first three products in FIDO Suite achieved certification in the three FIDO UAF (Universal Authentication Framework) categories required in a complete solution: Server, Client, and Authenticator. Certification was earned in part by achieving interoperability with products from other vendors at the most recent testing event sponsored by the FIDO® Alliance.
