Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) Advises on Divestiture in Solid Waste

CHICAGO and CLEVELAND, June 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is pleased to announce the sale of select, non-core hauling assets of Red River Waste Solutions (RR Waste) to Waste Connections, Inc. WCN. The specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed. BGL's Environmental & Industrial Services team served as financial advisor to RR Waste in the transaction.

Waste Connections purchased RR Waste's hauling operation in Rapid City, South Dakota, which provides solid waste collection, recycling, and disposal services to residential and commercial customers. The transaction combines the two largest waste management participants in the South Dakota market. RR Waste remains highly acquisitive in its current markets.
