iBio Inc IBIO added more than 30 percent this morning after 60 Minutes announced that Bob Simon’s last story would be on ZMapp, an Ebola drug made from tobacco. iBio helps Mapp Biopharmaceutical, who developed ZMapp, with its plant-based antibody manufacturing technology. Bob Simon reportedly finished producing the episode the day he died in a car accident.
In the trailer for Simon’s report, the anchor can be seen discussing ZMapp with the CEO of Kentucky Bioprocessing – a tobacco grower and new subsidiary of Reynolds American, Inc. RAI.
The report will air this Sunday, February 15 at 7 p.m. ET.
