"We are excited to support Teradata for this new offering," added Chris Holmes, president of OpenGeo. "The GeoServer solution works with geospatial information systems (GIS), visualization tools and the Teradata Database. The highly-optimized GeoServer solution provides users with high speed analysis of massive volumes of spatial data, which greatly enhances business intelligence solutions."

The OpenServer solution allows the Teradata Database to seamlessly access and work with visualization and GIS tools, such as Google Earth, Esri ArcGIS, PitneyBowes, MapInfo, and uDig. OpenGeo's development and support of the GeoServer solution extends the ability to access business data through web applications, mobile devices, and desktop GIS clients.
