Sensient Technologies Corporation SXT today announced the transition of its 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the "Annual Meeting"), scheduled for April 23, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., Central Time, from an in-person to a virtual-only meeting to support the health and well-being of our employees, shareholders, and community due to the impact of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak.

The change is in accordance with recommendations by the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the Governor of Wisconsin's Emergency Order #12/Safer at Home Order, mandating limits on the type and size of gatherings.

As described in the previously distributed proxy materials for the Annual Meeting, shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 26, 2020, the record date, are entitled to attend the Annual Meeting at https://web.lumiagm.com/210488496 ("Annual Meeting website") on April 23. To participate in the Annual Meeting, you must enter the control number found on your proxy card, voting instruction form, or notice you previously received. If you no longer have your control number, you will still be able to be admitted to the Virtual Annual Meeting; however, you will not be able to ask a question or otherwise participate during the Annual Meeting.

You may vote during the Annual Meeting by using your control number and following the instructions available on the Annual Meeting website during the meeting. Shareholders are encouraged to vote and submit their proxies in advance via one of the methods described in the proxy materials.

If you are a beneficial shareholder and want to participate in the Annual Meeting, please contact your bank, broker, or other nominee to request a legal proxy. Please note that you will not be able to vote your shares at the meeting without a legal proxy. You will need to ask your bank, broker, or other nominee to furnish you with a legal proxy. Please send a copy of your legal proxy to EQSS-ProxyTabulation@equiniti.com. We encourage you to vote your shares in advance, even if you intend to attend the meeting.
