Olympic Steel Welcomes Michelle Pearson-Casey as Vice President – Corporate Communications & Marketing

Olympic Steel Inc. ZEUS, a leading national metals service center, today announced that Michelle Pearson-Casey has joined the Company in the role of Vice-President – Corporate Communications & Marketing.

Ms. Pearson-Casey reports to Richard T. Marabito, Olympic Steel's Chief Executive Officer, and leads the Company's internal and external communications efforts. She is a former Olympic Steel employee, rejoining the Company with nearly 16 years of prior service and close to 20 years of experience in communications, change management and human resources.

Ms. Pearson-Casey joined Olympic Steel in 1999 and held positions of increasing responsibility, including the role of Director – Human Resources. She left the organization in 2015 to work for a Fortune 500 Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company and spent time as a Communications and Change Management Consultant with a creative agency, supporting several global organizations, before returning to Olympic Steel to assume her current role.

Ms. Pearson-Casey earned her undergraduate degree in Technical Writing and Design from Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. She is a PROSCI-certified Change Management Professional and a graduate of the Metals Service Center Institute's (MSCI) Strategic Metals Management Program (SMMP) at Washington University in St. Louis.
