Shutterstock Promotes Peter Silvio to Chief Technology Officer

In this role, Peter, who has been serving in a Head of Engineering capacity since March, will continue to lead the Technology organization, partnering closely with Product and Marketing to drive the development and implementation of innovative products that bring new value and an outstanding user experience to our customers and contributors. Additionally, Peter will be responsible for the Company's technical vision and enabling us to execute on our business objectives with speed and efficiency.

Peter joined Shutterstock in 2017 as VP of Engineering and Architecture with over 20 years of experience. Peter was promoted to SVP, Head of Engineering & Architecture in May 2019. In this capacity, he assumed leadership of the engineering organization, driving key technology priorities and championing the global team as they worked to advance our platform and network strategy.
