JMP Group Announces Addition of Raj Dayalan to Investment Banking Division

JMP Group LLC JMP, an investment banking and alternative asset management firm, announced today that Raj Dayalan has joined JMP Securities as a managing director in its technology investment banking group. Based in the firm's San Francisco headquarters, Mr. Dayalan will focus on the Internet and software sectors.

Prior to joining JMP Securities, Mr. Dayalan was a managing director at Rothschild & Co. concentrating on technology subsectors such as mobile payments, marketing technology, and software-as-a-service. Mr. Dayalan was previously at Houlihan Lokey, where he served as co-head of Internet and related software investment banking, and at UBS Investment Bank, where he served as co-head of Internet and payments investment banking. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dayalan held business development roles in mobile technology and healthcare informatics, after working in technology investment banking at both Deutsche Bank Securities and Salomon Brothers. He holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA from University of California, Irvine.
