Landis+Gyr Recognized for Safety Record at North American Facilities

ATLANTA, May 9, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Landis+Gyr LAND announced the company has been recognized for excellence in operational safety at two of its North American facilities.

Landis+Gyr received the Meritorious Achievement Award from the Minnesota Safety Council on May 8, highlighting the health and safety record and related programs at the company's Roseville, MN facility. This office manages field services and support for Xcel Energy's advanced metering operations.

In March, the Landis+Gyr manufacturing plant in Reynosa, Mexico was recognized by the Federal Secretary of Labor in Tamaulipas State for achieving the third level in the state's Health and Safety Self-Management Program. Landis+Gyr was the only manufacturer in its category to receive this award in 2018.
