NEW YORK, April 25, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aspen Group, Inc. ASPU, an education technology holding company, today announced the California Board of Registered Nursing Committee on Education voted earlier this month to continue the approval of United States University's MSN Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree program for a period of five years.
The California Board of Registered Nursing (CA BRN) is a state governmental agency established to protect the public by the implementation and enforcement of the California Nursing Practice Act; the laws related to nursing education, licensure, practice, and discipline. In fulfilling its mission, the CA BRN sets educational standards while approving nearly 200 nursing programs.
"The CA BRN's five year approval of the United States University FNP program is an affirmation of both the program's high academic standards and its emphasis on the professional preparation of Family Nurse Practitioners.
