MIAMI, FL, March 26, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE -- EAWC Technologies EAWD (also known as Eurosport Active World Corp) announces that it plans to offer its Atmospheric Water Generation technological solutions through lease programs. Several interested parties, including South Africa, have expressed a desire to lease its technology offerings when made available.

Earlier this month, EAWC Technologies announced the launching of The Blue Aqua Mission™ System; a state-of-the-art German engineered Atmosphere Water Generation (AWG) technology that is completely powered by renewable energy. The system is composed of a suite of intelligent software solutions for real-time optimization of process performance, and operates through its own innovative self-powered system.

Despite some relief this past year, Cape Town in South Africa was dangerously close to running out of water due to climate change. According to a report published last March by the Institute for Security Studies, the challenges include a growing population, contamination of rivers, leakage from rickety infrastructure (including wastewater treatment facilities in disrepair), and dependence on coal, which provides roughly 77% of the country's energy needs via power stations that need water to cool.

The report also stated that South Africa is overexploiting its renewable water resources, but it is possible to restore stability to South Africa's water system with significant financial investment and political will. EAWC Technologies is committed to facilitate the access to water in several countries such as South Africa by leasing The Blue Aqua Mission™ Systems.
