M1 Finance Appoints Strategic Marketing Leader Lou Friedmann as Executive Vice President

Digital Marketing Expert Joins M1 Finance Management Team; Aims to Enhance Growth of No-Fee Investment Platform

M1 Finance, the no-fee, automated investing platform, today announced the appointment of Lou Friedmann, a highly-skilled marketing professional, as Executive Vice President. Mr. Friedmann is based in Chicago and will be working in tandem with Founder and Chief Executive Officer Brian Barnes to propel the rapid growth of the platform.

An accomplished industry professional with more than 25 years of integrated marketing and digital expertise, Mr. Friedmann brings with him a substantial track record of empowering businesses to make impactful connections with their customer base. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of M1's corporate marketing and communications strategy, brand development and revenue management.

Mr. Friedmann's pivotal career experience includes a seven-year tenure as EVP of Barron's top broker optionsXpress, now Charles Schwab Corporation SCHW, where he led marketing execution from zero to 250,000 customers, with a focus on the low-cost of acquisition, through IPO and beyond.
