Tupperware Brands Appoints Senior Vice President, Business Transformation

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tupperware Brands Corporation TUP (the  "Company")  has appointed Nicholas ("Nick") K. Poucher, formerly Senior Vice President and Controller, to the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Business Transformation, effective today.  He will report directly to President and CEO, Patricia Stitzel.

In his new role, Poucher will be responsible for driving execution of the transformation initiatives underway as part of Tupperware's Global Growth Strategy. In addition to shaping and overseeing existing projects, Poucher will work cross-functionally to identify new opportunities to realize growth and efficiencies across the organization, with the goal of achieving operational excellence that is effectively aligned with the Company's business model.

Stitzel continued, "Nick is an accomplished leader at Tupperware Brands, having served in various senior management roles including Vice President and Controller and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company's Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific regions at different times, as well as serving at a unit-level.  As Controller, he has used his extensive understanding of the Company's global business structure and his strong organizational and project management experience to improve the Company's analytical capabilities and drive efficiencies in its financial reporting process." Poucher joined the Company in 1990.  He is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada, he received his bachelor of commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and he holds a master in business administration degree from the University of Chicago. 

In connection with Poucher's appointment, the Company has appointed Madeline Otero as Vice President and Controller and designated her as the Company's principal accounting officer, also effective today.  Ms. Otero has served as the Company's Vice President, Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management since November 2015 and prior to that, as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for its Beauticontrol business since January 2011. Otero first joined the Company in 2000, after having been an auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
