Alabama's Athletic Trainers Can Now Renew License Online

The Alabama State Board of Athletic Trainers, in partnership with Alabama Interactive, has launched an online platform for athletic trainers to renew their state license online. The new application gives licensees the convenience of not only submitting required documentation online, removing the need of mailing paper forms, but also processing their renewal fees by credit/debit card or ACH debit. When a licensee's application has been completed and approved, their License/ID Card is available for print directly from the online application, eliminating the wait time for a paper card to be mailed.

Athletic trainers will have access to the following features using the online application:

• Electronically submitting required Supervisory Physician Approval documentation
• Immediate access to License/ID Card upon application approval
• Credit/Debit Card and ACH debit payment processing for licensee renewal fees
• Seamless connection to the Board's database to pre-populate contact and employment information, increasing efficiency and the user experience
• Access to payment receipt and renewal information year-round

The Alabama State Board of Athletic Trainers joins over 60 other State of Alabama agencies in partnering with Alabama Interactive to provide online licensing services.
