ERIE, Pa., Oct. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Erie Insurance has appointed senior district sales manager Fred "Freddie" Johnson as branch manager at the insurer's Canton, Ohio branch beginning October 18.

Johnson joined the Canton Branch in 2002 as a claims data entry clerk while still in high school. He worked in the claims organization for 10 years in a variety of roles until named a district sales manager in 2012.

Johnson is a graduate of the University of Akron, where he earned a bachelor's degree in internet marketing and advertising.
