CAAS ("CAAS" or the "Company"), a leading power steering components and systems supplier in China, today announced that the Annual Meeting of Stockholders of China Automotive Systems, Inc. (the "Company") will be held on December 5, 2018 (Wednesday) at 10 am local time at the meeting room on the second floor, Henglong Group, 88 Sha Cen Road, Jingzhou City, Hubei province (434000), the People's Republic of China.

 The following matters will be voted upon at the Annual Meeting:

1. elect five directors of the Company, to hold office until the 2019 annual meeting of stockholders and until their successors are elected and qualified;

2. ratify the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian LLP as the Company's independent auditors for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2018; and

3. transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournments or postponements thereof.
