EDMONTON, May 28, 2018 /CNW/ - Altiplano Minerals Ltd. (TSX-V:APN) ALTPF (FWB:9AJ1) ("Altiplano" or the "Company") reports that on May 25^th, 2018 it filed a technical report prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") on the Farellon copper-gold deposit (the "Report"). The Report supports the disclosure made by the Company in its news release on April 10^th, 2018 entitled "Altiplano Reports Maiden Inferred Resource At The Farellon Copper-Gold Project In Chile" and there are no material differences in the mineral resources contained in the Report from those disclosed in the news release.

The Report dated May 25^th, 2018 is entitled "Technical Report For The Farellon Project, Coquimbo Region, Chile" and was prepared by independent "Qualified Persons" (as the term is defined in NI 43-101) Michael B. Dufresne, M.Sc., P.Geol., P.Geo., Alfonso Rodriguez, M.Sc., P.Geo. and Steven J. Nicholls, BA.Sc., MAIG of APEX Geoscience Ltd. of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
