Grupo Supervielle S.A. SUPV SUPV, ("Supervielle" or the "Company") a universal financial services group headquartered in Argentina with a nationwide presence, announced today that it plans to expand and enhance its capital markets and investment banking business. Roberto Garcia Guevara, who recently joined the Company, will play a key role in leading and implementing the roll out of the strategy.

Patricio Supervielle, Grupo Supervielle's Chairman and CEO, noted: "With our long history in the local capital markets and our recognized specialized teams, we aim to expand our business opportunities by offering long-term financing through the issuance of equity, corporate debt and other capital market instruments that are underdeveloped in Argentina as compared to other countries in the region. In this context, we are strengthening our leadership in investment banking through hiring Roberto who is a highly experienced banker and will further the achievement of this strategic goal. Based on the significant growth potential we see in Argentina today for the investment banking business overall, and robust credit demand within our corporate client base in particular, evidenced in the 63% growth in corporate loans achieved during 2017, we believe this is the right time to expand our product offerings."

Roberto Garcia Guevara brings broad experience and an extensive career in investment banking, research and corporate finance, having worked for the last 27 years in prestigious global and local investment banking institutions including Baring Securities, Merrill Lynch, UBS Pactual, Raymond James and AR Partners, among others.
