("GOL" or the "Company") GOL, Brazil's #1 airline, announced today that its subsidiary, Gol Finance (formerly known as "Gol LuxCo S.A."), has given formal notice to the holders of its 10.750% Senior Notes due 2023 (the "2023 Notes") that it will redeem all outstanding 2023 Notes on or around May 9, 2018, in accordance with their terms and conditions. This press release does not constitute a notice of redemption of the 2023 Notes.

The redemption of the 2023 Notes is part of GOL's ongoing liability management program, through which it has redeemed or accepted tenders of more than US$375 million of its bonds over the last six months.
