Teledyne Technologies Incorporated TDY announced today that its subsidiary, Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc., has been awarded an extension to its Mission Operations and Integration (MO&I) Service Contract from NASA. Under this contract, the company will continue to provide operations in support of the International Space Station (ISS) from Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

The MO&I program consists of all phases of flight, including mission preparation, crew and flight controller training, and real-time requirements for spaceflight operations. MO&I is a console operations, planning, systems, and training contract that provides the critical link between the Ground Operations Team and the astronauts on the ISS. Teledyne Brown Engineering has managed ISS Payload Operations for nearly 20 years, supplying over 150,000 hours of round-the-clock support. The company has played a major role in supporting NASA's science research aboard the ISS through the integration of almost 1,300 payloads, providing crew training activities for these payloads, developing experiment procedures, and delivering real-time support to science teams from around the world.

"We have a stellar team working on MO&I as proven by this contract extension," stated Jan Hess, President of Teledyne Brown Engineering. "Our company is committed to continued successes on this contract in support of NASA's mission and its crew members."

Teledyne Brown Engineering has frequently been recognized for its exemplary work on this contract in numerous areas. The company has celebrated many successes on the contract alongside its subcontractors and small business partners.
