Alabama Interactive, in partnership with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, has implemented the sale of distinctive vessel identification stickers at county-level offices. Alabama boat owners can view and purchase the newly designed tags that represent the school or organization of their choice, similar to existing car registration vanity tags.
Initial tag offerings include:
- Faulkner University
- Miles College
- Tuskegee University
- University of Alabama
- University of South Alabama
- Legacy Protect our Environment
Several more options will be available in April and May of this year.
The new tag designs are available to boat owners registering a new vessel or renewing an existing registration. A percentage of the proceeds from each purchase will be gifted to the school or organization represented on the tag.
