Virginia Commonwealth Bank Welcomes Ashley Smith

RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Randal R. Greene, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bay Banks of Virginia, Inc. BAYK, holding company of Virginia Commonwealth Bank and VCB Financial Group,  welcomes Ashley Smith  as Vice President, Audit Manager.

Mrs. Smith joins VCB with 15 years of banking experience, most recently from Ernst & Young's Financial Services Office in Richmond where she spent four years in their assurance practice auditing a top ten national bank.  Prior to that, she spent eleven years at First Capital Bank in Glen Allen, VA. 

Mrs. Smith is a Certified Public Accountant. She's received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Master of Accountancy from VCU and was a Dean's Scholar Award recipient.
