Meridian Waste Solutions' Technology Division Signs Agreement with a Tennessee Community Hospital

Attis Healthcare, Formerly DxT Medical, a Meridian Waste Solutions Subsidiary, Delivers its First Internally Sourced Contract

Attis Healthcare (formerly DxT Medical) will manage and operate the hospital laboratory utilizing its expertise of systems and a deep bench of professionals that focus on improving patient outcomes and profitability in rural healthcare markets across the country.

Laboratory services are an integral part of patient care that impact approximately 70% of medical decisions and comprise more than 80% of a patient's medical record. In today's healthcare market, it is important for community hospitals to find new, innovative ways to improve hospital economics through partnerships and outsourcing. Attis Healthcare and its team of seasoned healthcare professionals will assist the hospital in building and developing a state-of-the-art hospital laboratory, which will allow the hospital to realize new and increased revenue streams while solidifying its role as a pillar of its Tennessee community. The partnership between Attis Healthcare and the hospital will result in a profitable, highly functioning hospital laboratory that will provide improved health care for the citizens of the hospital's community. A hospital laboratory of this size can typically process, on average, upwards of 1,000 samples per month, once it is fully functioning, leading to a potential increase in revenue in excess of $5,000,000.
