DICK'S Sporting Goods Announces Grand Opening of Five New Stores in Three States

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DICK'S Sporting Goods DKS, the largest U.S.-based, full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer, will be opening five new DICK'S Sporting Goods stores during the remaining weeks of October.            

DICK'S will now have 718 DICK'S Sporting Goods locations across the country. The new DICK'S locations will also bring approximately 376 total jobs to five communities through the hiring of full-time, part-time and temporary associates for these stores.

Additionally, Patagonia and The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation will each provide a $5,000 grant to the Baltimore City Foundation's Great Parks/Strong Neighborhoods initiative. Patagonia's grant will benefit stewardship of natural and cultural resources. The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation's grant will benefit the initiative's youth sports and outdoor programs.
