This is the second consecutive year in which McCann was named Cresta's Network of the Year. The network total of 33 awards (5 Grand Prix, 11 Gold, 10 Silver, 7 Bronze) included work from McCann Worldgroup agencies from Barcelona, Cairo, Detroit, Lima, Melbourne, Mumbai, New York, Paris, Singapore, and Sydney. Additionally, 35 campaigns were finalists, representing contributions from a total of 13 countries.

The awards went to campaigns for clients including Cigna, Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, Godiva, and USPS, among others. McCann New York won 5 Grand Prix awards: 4 for the "Fearless Girl" campaign for State Street Global Advisors, and one for "Field Trip to Mars" for Lockheed Martin.

Rob Reilly, Global Creative Chairman of McCann Worldgroup, said, "No agency can do great creative work without the partnership and support of brave clients who want to meaningfully connect with their customers. This is a testament to them as well as to the incredible creative, strategic and account talent we have around the world."

Eric Silver, Chief Creative Officer of McCann North America, added, "We're feeling really good about the work coming out of North America. On one hand, we have the 'Fearless Girl' and 'The Field Trip to Mars,' both of which have been recognized in 2017, but also great campaigns for Chevrolet, Cigna, Godiva, and USPS that really highlight the strong creative coming from McCann this year."

The Cresta Awards achievements follow a string of others globally for McCann in 2017, including winning the most top Grand Prix (six) at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and becoming the most awarded Cannes agency in North America. Also this year, McCann was named Agency of the Year at the Clio Awards; Agency of the Year at The One Show; North American Agency of the Year at the New York Festivals; Network of the Year and Agency of the Year at the International ANDY Awards, in addition to taking the Best in Show GRANDY award; Network of the Year, Agency of the Year, and Digital Agency of the Year at the ADC 96th Annual Awards; and was ranked No. 1 Network Globally by The Midas Report. Additionally in the effectiveness awards arena, McCann was recognized as Network of the Year at the Latin American Effie Awards and as the most effective agency office in the North America Effies.

The Cresta Awards, now in its 25th year, was launched to celebrate creative excellence by Creative Standards International in partnership with the International Advertising Association.
