Terra Firma Capital Corporation Announces Closing of a First Mortgage Transaction on Premier Waterfront Development in Savannah, Georgia for US $18 Million (CDN$ 22 Million)

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sep 26, 2017) - Terra Firma Capital Corporation TII ("Terra Firma" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce the closing of a US$18 million (CDN$22 million) first mortgage loan (the "Loan") for the acquisition and development of an 11.3 acre residential infill land parcel located on the Savannah River in downtown Savannah, Georgia.

The Company partially funded US$11 million (CDN$14 million) on closing from available cash balances. The remainder will be funded in the future based on the borrower meeting certain conditions through a combination of available cash balances and funds from the syndicated investors. The deployment of this capital is expected to positively impact the earnings of the Company in the quarter ending September 30, 2017 and onwards.

The Company also announces that it has granted options to its investor relations consultant to purchase up to 100,000 common shares of the Corporation at a price of $0.69 per share. Each of the option grants shall vest in four equal instalments every three months and shall expire in three years from the date of grant.
