Celanese Announces Acetyl Intermediates and Vinyl Acetate-based Emulsions Price Increases

Celanese Corporation CE, a global technology and specialty materials company, will increase list and off-list selling prices for the following acetyl intermediates products. The price increases below will be effective immediately, or as contracts otherwise allow, and are incremental to any previously announced increases.

The company also announced today that it will increase the price of vinyl acetate-based emulsions sold in China by ¥500/MT and in Asia (outside of China) by $100/MT, effective immediately or as contracts otherwise allow.
