NRT Names Laura Rittenberg President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Atlanta

MADISON, N.J., Sept. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- NRT LLC, the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage company, announced today that Laura R. Rittenberg has been named president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Atlanta. In this position, Rittenberg will oversee the daily operations of the company's 11 real estate offices and more than 850 affiliated sales agents and employees serving the Greater Atlanta metro.

Rittenberg most recently served as the president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage on Long Island in New York with direct oversight of 13 real estate offices doing business throughout Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties. Under her direction, the company boasted more than $1.4 billion in total sales volume in 2016.

With a successful real estate career that spans more than 30 years, Rittenberg has a proven track record of building and managing successful real estate companies in major markets including Denver, Connecticut, Westchester (N.Y.) and Long Island.  She has worked as an agent, sales manager, franchise owner and corporate executive. She has owned and operated two independent real estate companies, a mortgage company and a real estate licensing school and managed sales offices for two national franchises. She joined NRT's Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage when it acquired her brokerage company in 2000.

Rittenberg is replacing former president Charlotte Sears, who has chosen to retire this year.

Sears began her real estate career as a sales agent more than 30 years ago. She was serving as general sales manager for an Atlanta-based company when it was acquired by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in 2002. She was named executive vice president of the organization at that time and was appointed president of the company in 2005.
