Melkior - Hemlo Update

Timmins, Ontario / TheNewswire / September 6, 2017 - Melkior Resources Inc. ("Melkior") is pleased to announce that an additional 45 claim units (1,779 acres) have been acquired in the White Lake Area. The claims acquired were surrounded by Melkior's pre-existing claim group. The total area of the White Lake Project is now 373 contiguous claim units (13,745 acres). The White Lake Project is located approximately 15 km northeast of the Hemlo Gold Mine currently operated by Barrick Gold Corporation. Melkior's claim group adjoins Canadian Orebodies Inc. and is 3 km west of claims held by Golden Peak Minerals Inc.

Melkior currently has a ground crew on the White Lake Project conducting A-horizon soil sampling over an area of approximately one kilometer wide by two kilometers long on a 50 m grid spacing. The results of the soil geochemistry will be used to help guide further exploration programs with the goal of advancing the White Lake Project to the drilling stage.
