1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. FLWS, the leading gourmet food and floral gift provider for all occasions, today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized an increase in the Company's share repurchase program to $30 million. The Company said that it had approximately $15.0 million remaining on its previous Board authorization, issued in October, 2016.

Chris McCann, CEO of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc., said, "The combination of the strong cash flow produced by our operating model and the proceeds of the recent sale of Fannie May has provided the company with significant liquidity and flexibility. As such, we are able to invest in further organic growth while continuing to pursue potential acquisition opportunities and simultaneously accelerate the return of capital to our shareholders through the increased share repurchase authorization. This increase reflects management's and our Board's confidence in our ability to generate top and bottom-line growth, drive strong cash flows and deliver on our commitment to drive shareholder value."

Share repurchases may be made by the Company from time to time in open market transactions at prevailing market prices and/or through an authorized stock repurchase plan under the Securities Exchange Commission Rule 10b5-1. The actual timing, number and value of shares repurchased under the program will be determined by management in its discretion and will depend on a number of factors, including, among others, cash requirements for business operations, acquisitions, general market and business conditions, the trading price of the stock and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. The Company has no obligation to repurchase any shares under the authorization, and the repurchase program may be suspended or modified at any time for any reason.
