Affymetrix Appoints Frank Witney as President, CEO

today announced that Dr. Frank Witney has been appointed president and chief executive officer, effective July 1, 2011. Dr. Witney will succeed Kevin M. King who has resigned as Affymetrix's president and chief executive officer, effective June 30, 2011, to pursue other interests.
