The last Canadian IPO was a good one, but it happened a while ago. Dundee International REIT went public in July 2011, and it's up for the ‘best IR for an IPO' award at the IR Magazine Canada Awards (with the event to be held Wednesday night in Toronto). According to the Globe and Mail, ‘the markets are just too rocky to pull the trigger' in the Canadian IPO market. The report adds, ‘There are still big fears that investor appetite just isn't there.'
