Jim Cramer On CNBC's "Squawk On The Street" talked about American Express Company AXP third-quarter results.

American Express's contactless feature on cards has helped them immensely, says Cramer. The company reported earnings per share of $1.30, which missed analyst estimates of $1.33, and sales of $8.75 billion, which beat analyst estimates of $8.66 billion.

Cramer says he wouldn't be surprised to see in future quarters the benefit of the company's spending. He notes the hit American Express took was due to restaurants closing amid the pandemic.

American Express was trading down 1.57% at $103.15 per share on Friday at the time of publication. The company has a 52-week high of $138.13 and a 52-week low of $67.
