report
from the Wall Street Journal.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Twitter has found a notable partner for a new 24–7 streaming news service: Bloomberg. The social media company's CEO Jack Dorsey is expected to provide further details of the new partnership on Monday at an event hosted by Bloomberg's founder, Michael Bloomberg.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg Media's chief executive officer Justin Smith explained to WSJ the news service will target an "intelligent audience around the global" and will be "broader in focus" compared to its traditional news network.

Some details are already known, namely that programming will consist of live news reporting from Bloomberg's reporters from all over the world, along with a mix of verified and curated videos posted on Twitter by users.

"We really think we can reach audiences that are not paying for TV and are watching television on the go and we think Bloomberg is the perfect partners for us to start with," Twitter's chief financial and operating officer Anthony Noto was quoted by WSJ as saying.
